When to expect Kindergeld in 2022?

Family fund (Family Fund) sets payout dates annually and depends on what digit your Kindergeld number ends with, from zero to nine.

If there are several children, then the number will be one and payments will be made on the same day.

Some facts

✅ From January 1, 2021, the following amount of child money payments in Germany is valid:

For 1-2 children - 219 € for each

3 children - 225 € each

from 4 children – 250 € for each

✅ Child money can only be received for the last 6 months from the date of application

✅ Kindergeld is paid to a child up to 18 years of age. If the child is studying or looking for work, then payments continue until the age of 25

Clients from the last digit “0” receives payment at the beginning of the month . Then services are paid for the last digit 1, then for 2 and so on. Payment dates for customers from the last digit 9 always falls at the end of the month.

Important: The receipt of money may be delayed on weekends and holidays. You do not have a legal right to transfer your benefits on a specific day of the month.

First payment

With the first payment you will receive full monthly amount, even if your eligibility for these benefits does not expire until the last day of the month.
