BLUE CARD WORK IN GERMANY. List of documents for applying for a Blue Card visa
First of all, of course, we advise you to check the current list of documents on the website of the German consulate of your country of origin.
But, one way or another, there is a standard and necessary list of documents for the Blue Card program.
It should also be borne in mind that the list of documents may vary depending on the case, and the embassy employee has the right to request any other additional document.
If you are submitting documents in a language other than German, you must attach a notarized German translation.
Please ALWAYS check the current list of documents on the website of the German consulate in your country before submitting documents.
Remember that the consulate has the right to request any additionalth document which is not in this list.
To apply for Blue You will need a card:
1) Anketa, which can (and should) be found on consulate website.  The application can be completed in German or English. Two copies.
2) 3 recent photographs 45x35mm on a white background. Two had to be glued to the forms (despite the fact that the form says “do not glue”), and one more had to be brought with you.
3) Passport of the Russian Federation and 2 copies of all pages containing data.
4) International passport and 2 copies of the page with personal data.
Note It is better for everyone to make a new passport for 10 years, since all documents in Germany will be tied to it. in the Russian Federation now you can make a second passport.
5) An employment contract (original with signatures) with two copies, plus an indication of the type of activity and a description of job responsibilities (aka Job Description). Plus two copies of the contract and job description.
To apply for BC, the income level must be higher than 56'800 Euro for all professions except doctors, mathematicians, engineers, IT and natural sciences. For them, the bar has been lowered and amounts to 44'304 Euro.
(All figures are BEFORE taxes are paid as of 2021).
6) A special employment relationship form (Erklarung zum Beschaftigungsverhaltnis) that your employer completes.
7) Diploma plus an insert with a list of subjects. Plus two copies of both. You will also need proof of diploma recognition in Germany. To apply for a Blue Card (Blau Karte), a diploma is required!
8) Your biography in German in the form of a table. This biography must contain no gaps, plus you must include your address and contact phone number. You can use your resume as a basis, adding the dates of your studies at school and college. The main thing is that there should be no gaps in the biography.
9) Insurance policy. Everything is quite interesting here. On the one hand, if you have a long-term contract, you can write to an insurance company (for example, TC or AOK) and conclude an insurance contract with them from the start date of your contract. On the other hand, you can show travel insurance and it may be enough to approve the package of documents.
Next, the documents must be laid out in three piles.
One stack of originals and two stacks of copies of documents.
Do not use a stapler.
