It is issued by the insurance company and can be used to register a vehicle at any transport authority in Germany. When filling out the online form to obtain the eVB, you need to enter your personal information and choose an insurance company.
Once the eVB number has been used to register the car, it is considered insured under the legally required minimum tariff – Haftpflichtversicherung.
