From 1 April 2025, the annual taxable income (zu versteuerndes Einkommen) above which families will no longer receive Elterngeld is being reduced from €200,000 to €175,000, for both couples and single parents. Following successful testing in pilot regions, the widespread introduction of the electronic patient record (elektronische Patientenakte, ePA) is expected from April 2025.
