Would you like to get a German passport? Thanks to the new law, which will be in effect from June 26, 2024, Germany is becoming a more attractive country for immigration. 🔥You can now get a German passport after 5 years or even after 3 years if certain integration conditions are met. Previously, it was 8 years and you also had to renounce your previous citizenship. You will be entitled to German citizenship under the new law if: 🔹 You have legally resided in Germany for 5 years (or 3 years with rapid integration). That is, you have the right to permanent residence or a residence permit. 🔹You can provide for yourself and your family members and not receive benefits and unemployment benefits. 🔹You have a sufficient level of German (minimum B1 for those applying after 5 years and C1 for those applying after 3 years). 🔹You have enough knowledge about laws, social and legal order. 🔹You have no criminal record. Due to the relatively mild winter this year and comfortable temperatures for ticks in the spring, this year the number of dangerous parasites will be much greater than in previous years. It is especially important to be careful during humid and warm days when ticks are actively moving around in search of food. Which regions of Germany have the highest risk of infection? Bavaria, Baden-Württemberg, Hesse, Thuringia, Saxony - these lands are recognized as endemic areas for tick-borne encephalitis, a disease caused by a virus transmitted through the bites of infected ticks 😱 ❗️Vaccination is recommended to protect against tick-borne encephalitis in these regions! Contact your Hausarzt - your insurance policy will provide you with free vaccinations. 🔴 In Germany, it is not customary to submit ticks for analysis; instead, it is recommended to independently monitor the location of the bite and the condition of the victim. 🟢 If you have accident insurance (Unfallversicherung), we recommend checking whether situations involving tick bites are covered. In such cases, additional payment may be provided. ❓ Have you or your pet already caught these “adorable” creatures? Have you been vaccinated? In 2018, our whole family, unknowingly, faced this scourge, and we were lucky that the bites were from ticks not infected with encephalitis 🙏 Of course, our whole family was immediately vaccinated.
